Palworld has been creating a stir across the gaming community. If you’ve just started playing the game, I’ve compiled a list of the best base locations for you. Today, however, we’ll focus on the top ten strongest Pals.
1. Grizzbolt
Grizzbolt is the first boss you need to defeat in the game. This electric-type Pal can be equipped with a minigun by spending a certain number of technology points. With a minigun, it becomes compelling. To catch this boar, you must defeat it in the game’s first boss tower or find it in Wildlife Sanctuary 1. Although Grizzbolt is an early-game boss, it is one of the strongest Pals in the game, which is why it’s on this list.
2. Mammorest
Mammorest is an interesting grass-element Pal found in grazing fields. It helps with tasks like lumbering, mining, and planting. Its size indicates its power. It looks like a valley mammoth and usually stays calm. However, if provoked, some of its attacks can knock out all your Pals and deplete your health. If you want to fight it, bring a fire-type Pal, as Mammorest is weak against fire and takes significant damage from fire-type attacks.
3. Blazamut
Next, let’s talk about Blazamut, a pure fire-type Pal known for its high damage output. Fire is possibly the best element in the game, and Blazamut showcases this with its 150 astronomical melee attack. When you ride it, it enhances fire attacks. Blazamut has skills like Stone Blast and Rock Lance, along with the essential fire skill, Fireball, so you don’t need to sacrifice much for coverage. Capturing Blazamut is challenging as it appears as a field alpha boss in one of the game’s harshest environments. Ensure you understand how to survive in scorching climates before trying to capture it.
4. Orserk
Orserk, an electric and dragon-type Pal, is next on the list. Even though Grizzbolt is already mentioned, Orserk outshines Grizzbolt in both electric and dragon categories. This is why Orserk appears in a tougher boss tower. According to my research, it might be the strongest electric Pal in the game with a work suitability of level 4. Orserk can deal 100 melee damage, making it very powerful. If you spot this Pal, try to catch it as soon as possible because it can dominate any water-type Pal. Orserk is mainly found in Wildlife Sanctuary 3.
5. Frostallion
For ice-type Pals, Frostallion is the best choice. No other ice Pal comes close, which is why it appears in the late stage of the game with no breeding option. This Pal converts the player’s damage type to ice and boosts all ice-type damage output, making it very effective against dragon types. To obtain Frostallion, you need to travel to the northernmost island, a frozen wasteland with harsh conditions. On the west side of this island, there’s a lake where a level 50 alpha Frostallion spawns. If you find it difficult to catch it at first, you can always try again later.
6. Paladius
The next Pal on the list is Paladius, a pure neutral-type Pal. Only dark-type attacks can cause significant damage to it. With an upcoming PvP update where dark types will be prominent, many players will use dragon types. Whether in PvP or PvE, this Pal is excellent for pairing with dragons. It has a cool ice move called Blizzard Spike, which can easily hit distant targets. You can find Paladius in the same area as Necromas, and it looks quite similar.
7. Shadowbeak
The dark element is probably the second strongest after the fire, effectively hitting neutral Pals. There are plenty of neutral Pals in the game. Thanks to its impressive offensive stats and unique combo, Shadow Beak is among the top-tier Pals. It’s fast and has a move called Divine Disaster. If you haven’t heard of this attack yet, don’t worry; it will soon become your favorite dark attack with its power of 160 and a cooldown time of just 45 seconds. The best part is that this attack automatically targets enemies. Shadow Beak has one of the strongest partner skills in the game, making dark attacks even more powerful and allowing you to ride it. You can capture Shadow Beak in Wildlife Sanctuary 3, and I highly recommend catching it as soon as possible.
8. Jormuntide
Jormuntide and Jormuntide Ignis are two sides of the same coin: one is a dragon-water type, and the other is a dragon-fire type. Both forms are incredibly strong. Although Jormuntide lacks a bit in bulk, it makes up for it with its powerful attacks. The regular Jormuntide’s partner skill lets you move indefinitely over water without losing stamina. Riding Jormuntide Ignis enhances fire attacks. The interesting part is you can have both forms on your team, and they are equally useful and strong, so you don’t have to choose between them.
9. Anubis
Next on the list is Anubis, which you should keep for its handy work level four and best work suitability. Additionally, it’s excellent in combat with an incredible offensive stat of 130 for both melee and ranged attacks, making it extremely strong and versatile. Especially with skills like Rock Lance and Ground Smash. Although Ground Smash is a weak move, it has a short cooldown and hits a wide area, allowing it to wipe out groups of Pals, saving time in resource farming or eliminating small enemies to focus on bigger ones. Its partner skill, Guardian of the Desert, changes the player’s damage type to ground and gives Anubis the ability to dodge incoming attacks. Anubis is a field boss appearing at level 47 in the desert patch near the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant fast travel point.
10. Jetragon
Jetragon is considered the best Pal in the game because it excels in almost every field. This pure dragon Pal becomes very useful as the game progresses, especially against the numerous dark Pals. Its short attack stat of 140 is amazing, and it has one of the best partner skills in the game. Aerial Missile is Jetragon’s partner skill, allowing you to mount and fly while rapidly firing missiles at enemies. To put it simply, it’s like having a fighter jet as a pet. Besides its usual dragon skills, Jetragon also has coverage skills like Flare Storm and Fire Ball. Like Necromus, it’s a level 50 legendary Pal found on the volcanic island on the opposite side of the map.
